DEMOSTRATIVE PRONOUN

Definition: Demonstrative Pronouns(takes the place of a noun). The demonstrative pronouns are the same in form as the demonstrative adjectives, but they always have the accent mark:

Examples in Spanish:

That sweater is yours; this is mine.
Ese suéter es tuyo,ésto es mío."ésto" replaces "sweater"

This blouse is mine; that is yours.
Esta blusa es mía, aquélla es tuya."aquélla" replaces"blouse"

This table is mine, that one is yours.
Esta mesa es mía,aquélla es tuya.

I want two books;
give me that one (near you) and that one (yonder).

Deseo dos libros;
dame ése y aquél.
